About these terms

These terms cover the ParkKing app and this website. ParkKing is provided by Joseph Hershkop (“we”, “us”). By using ParkKing, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

If you got ParkKing from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. How we handle your information is covered by the privacy policy.

Parking information

ParkKing interprets City of Toronto open data to tell you where and when you can park. That data, and our reading of it, may be incomplete, wrong or out of date, and rules on the street can change before the data does.

Posted signs and the directions of parking enforcement officers and police always take precedence over ParkKing. Always check the signs where you park. ParkKing is not legal advice.

No warranty

ParkKing is free and is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. We don’t promise that it will be accurate, complete, available or free of errors.

Tickets, towing and other losses

To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t responsible for parking tickets, fines, towing, impound fees or any other loss or damage that comes from using or relying on ParkKing, including reminders that arrive late or not at all. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Not the City of Toronto

ParkKing is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of Toronto.

Parking rules come from City of Toronto Open Data. Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Toronto.

Trademarks

Apple, iPhone, Siri, App Store and Apple Maps are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Maps, Waze and Green P are trademarks of their respective owners. ParkKing isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
